Robinson Patman Associate Andrii Blagodarnyi spoke at the Food Export Congress, organized by U-Food Association and held online from 3 to 10 December.
An extensive congress program covered topics of current importance for the food sector, including whether COVID may be considered as force majeure event, branding technologies, marketing plans and opportunities for rapid business scaling, specifics of logistics organization and products certification procedures.
Andrii spoke about the basic designations, court practice in COVID-related force majeure disputes and issues that need to be considered by parties in export contracts, including the specifics of drafting COVID-related clauses.
The conference brought together 200+ participants, including sector experts and representatives of the entire food production chain, from raw foods to sale, in particular, Roshen, Borjomi, Biola, Veres, Pripravka.
