Robinson Patman acts as a legal advisor to the reputable Turkish contractors YILDIZAR and ENEZ and municipal authorities in a project for modernization of Khmelnitskyi Airport. Our lawyers participated in a working meeting to discuss the project that was held on December 23, 2021 in Khmelniskyi.
Among the meeting participants were representatives YILDIZLAR and ENEZ, officials and senior staff of the Khmelnistskyi regional state administration, members of the Ukrainian Parliament, Deputy Head of Khmelnitskyi city council and Director of Khmelnytskyi Airport.
The meeting participants discussed the prospects of the airport modernization and elaborated possible options for this. The first option suggests airport reconstruction, creation of a passenger terminal and a small cargo compartment. The second option suggests construction of a new terminal, renewal of the takeoff runway and arrangement of a cargo compartment.
During the meeting, the participants also discussed the main trends and perspectives for developments in the aviation sphere and challenges caused by the pandemic.
The participants have agreed to set up a working group that will elaborate a road map for the implementation of the project discussed at the meeting.
